1. Eligibility and using the App

Sketchwright is not intended for use by anyone under 18. You must be at least 18 years old (and, if higher, the age of legal majority where you live) and capable of forming a binding contract.

You may install and use the App under the license above. The license does not let you sell, share or redistribute the App, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except where the law allows, or remove its copyright and trademark notices. You also may not:

Drydock Labs and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the App, including all intellectual property rights in it. These terms grant you a license, not a sale.

Other people and recording

The App transcribes speech from your Mac's microphone and from the audio your Mac plays, including other participants in calls and anyone within range of the microphone. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to recording, transcribing or monitoring conversations, and for giving any notice and obtaining any consent those laws require from the people Sketchwright hears. Some jurisdictions require the consent of all parties to a conversation. Consent and notice laws differ by state and by country, and your employer or the other participants may have their own rules. Tell the people you are meeting with, and get the consent the law where you are requires. The App does not notify other participants. Transcriptions and AI-generated output may be inaccurate and may attribute words to the wrong speaker.

2. Your content and third-party content

What you talk about, and the sketches the App produces from it, are yours. Drydock Labs claims no ownership of them. You grant Drydock Labs and its service providers permission to process your content as described in the Privacy Policy, to provide and improve the App.

Sketches may include material the App did not create, such as facts, figures or pictures retrieved from websites. That material remains the property of its owners and may be protected by copyright or other rights. The App displays it for your reference during a session. If you share, publish or distribute a sketch containing third-party material, you are responsible for obtaining any permissions required; the App's display of the material grants you no rights in it.

3. Third-party software and services

The App may use the coding agents you have set up on your Mac, such as Claude Code or Codex. Your use of them is governed by your agreement with their providers, not by these terms. Drydock Labs does not control those providers, their models, their availability, their prices, or what they do with what the App sends them.

The App and your coding agents may search the web and fetch pictures and pages for you. Drydock Labs does not control those sites, does not check what they say, and is not responsible for their content or for any loss arising from your reliance on it. Your use of those sites through the App is subject to their own terms. The App is not endorsed by or affiliated with the providers of the meeting apps, coding agents or websites it is used with; their names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Agents started from the App run through your coding agents and use only the tools you have allowed. Some tools can make changes on your Mac or in third-party services on your behalf, and may consume your subscription or usage allowance with those providers. You are responsible for reviewing what agents do and report before relying on it. Websites and Mac apps displayed within the App remain subject to their own terms, as if you were using them directly. Agents you connect yourself in Settings are your own, and Drydock Labs is not responsible for their actions.

4. Beta builds, free usage and changes

Beta builds of the App are pre-release versions provided for evaluation. They are provided “AS IS”, “WITH ALL FAULTS” and “AS AVAILABLE” and may change at any time without notice. Free hosted usage (use of AI models through Drydock Labs' servers at no charge) has a weekly allowance for each installation of the App, which the App shows in Settings, and is available while “Help improve Sketchwright” is on, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may reduce, change or end free hosted usage at any time without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of the App or our servers, with or without notice. The App checks for updates and installs them unless you turn that off in Settings. We may require you to update the App to keep using it or free hosted usage, and older versions may stop working.

The App is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you the price before you are charged.

If you choose to provide comments or suggestions about Sketchwright, we may use that feedback for any purpose without obligation of any kind.

5. Features and bugs

We design Sketchwright with care, based on our own experience and the experiences of people who share their time and feedback. However, there is no such thing as software that pleases everybody. We make no guarantees that the App will meet your specific requirements or expectations. As with any software, the App inevitably has some bugs. Not all reported bugs will get fixed, and we don't guarantee completely error-free software.

6. No warranty

Your use of the App is at your sole risk. The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not offer a service-level agreement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that transcription will be accurate, or that anything the App or a coding agent generates will be correct, complete, or suitable for any decision you make. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drydock Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising out of or related to these terms or the App, even if advised of the possibility. Drydock Labs' total liability arising out of or related to these terms or the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid Drydock Labs for the App in the 12 months before the claim and (b) US$1,000. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Export and sanctions

You represent that you are not located in, and are not a national or resident of, any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, and that you are not on any U.S. government denied-party or sanctions list.

9. Termination

This license continues until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the App. It terminates automatically if you breach these terms, and you must then stop using and delete the App. We may stop offering the App, a beta build or free hosted usage at any time. Sections 2, 6, 7, 11 and 12 survive termination.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of these terms shows when they last changed, and material changes will be announced on the site or in the App before they take effect. Continuing to use the App after an update takes effect means you accept it.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting formal proceedings over a dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the App, the party raising it must give the other written notice (to Drydock Labs at [email protected]), and both will try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days. After that, the dispute must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the place where you live.

12. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Drydock Labs about the App. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business. If we do not exercise or enforce a right or provision of these terms, that does not mean we are waiving it.
